GWC member Dow recently received an “A+” designation on its 2011 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Report with the UN Global Compact Communication on Progress. According to Mark Weick, Dow’s Director of Sustainability:
“This year, we reported to the expanded requirements of the GRI 3.1 format. We also made the report more engaging for readers with enhanced graphics and navigation options, including the ability to navigate by materiality. We continue to have the report assured by a third party.”
This is Dow’s fifth year in a row achieving the “A+” rating, designating that Dow reached the highest level of completion and assuring that the report is accurate and has been reviewed by a third party.
