Solange Knowles Joins Coca-Cola Campaign For Clean Water In Africa
Singer Solange Knowles recently teamed up with The Coca-Cola Company to help raise funds for the Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN). Along with singer Chris Taylor and musician Twin Shadow, Knowles created a “donate to download” single titled “Kenya”.
Fans can donate as much as they can for the track and bosses at The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation are hoping to raise $10,000 (£6,700) for clean water projects in Rwanda, Uganda and Cameroon.
Knowles says, “Water is a necessity, it’s not a privilege. The ‘Music for RAIN’ project gives everyone a chance to contribute and play a part in improving the situation.”
