GWC has recently developed a new interactive map to help
stakeholders better understand the challenges and opportunities of the global water crisis by region and country. In addition to GWC and its member activities, the map contains water, sanitation and water usage statistics that illustrate the world’s diverse water contexts. Beyond viewing what GWC and its partners are doing to combat the crisis, you can see information on where more investment is needed.
Information can be viewed at the global level, regional level or at the more detailed country level. At every level, the user is provided with key information about water access and availability.
GWC hopes that the new map will prove to be a valuable resource for decision makers and practitioners alike. This tool has consolidated data from diverse resources to create a comprehensive source of information. In creating this map, GWC hopes to improve awareness of water challenges around the globe and help users better understand opportunities that exist for investment.
